How to apply to our school.

Schedule a Tour!


Hollister Montessori School accepts children beginning at the age of two and a half.  Children must have independent bathroom skills. We encourage parents to enroll children at this age because it allows for the completion of a three/four-year cycle, prior to entering the elementary program.


Families interested in visiting the school should call for an appointment with the Head of School, Debbie Parga. During this interview, the Montessori Method will be explained and parents will have the opportunity to ask any questions. Afterwards, an observation appointment may be scheduled. We then encourage you to visit with your child. Registration materials and fees must be returned before a starting date can be scheduled. Children are accepted throughout the year, as space becomes available.

Are you interested in applying to our school? We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child! These steps will walk you through the process:

1. Contact Our Admissions Director


It’s never too early to begin the application process. Debbie Parga, Head of School, can be reached via phone or email. Your first conversation will be a chance to let us know how old your child is and what program you are interested in applying for. We will invite you to schedule a visit to the school so that you may tour the campus and see in person what we have to offer.

2. Schedule a Tour and Classroom Observation


In person observations give prospective families a chance to see the uninterrupted morning work cycle: a hallmark of Montessori education. In person observations will resume shortly. School visits can be scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings. You will have an opportunity to meet with our administrative staff to ask any question you may have. Please note that these initial visits are for adults only.

3. Submit a Completed Application


Feel free to request a paper copy of our application during your visit. Please keep in mind that spaces do fill early.

4. Secure Your Child’s Enrollment


If your child is accepted to our school, we require that you send a $700.00 deposit in order to secure their enrollment. Payment must be received within two weeks of notice of acceptance.
